In 2005, the Ministry of Construction adjusted and supplemented the "10 new technologies in the construction industry". The popularization and application ratio of new scaffolding such as plug-in scaffolding, coiled-pin scaffolding, attached lifting scaffolding and electric bridge-type scaffolding (attached electric construction platform) is expanding rapidly.

Since the 1990s, some domestic enterprises have introduced foreign advanced technology and developed many new types of scaffolding, such as pin-type scaffolding, CRAB modular scaffolding, disk-pin scaffolding, card-board scaffolding, wheel-buckle scaffolding, square-tower scaffolding, and various types of climbing frames, etc. Since these new types of scaffolding are the mainstream scaffolding in the international market, they have the features of reasonable structure, advanced technology, safety and reliability, and material saving, and have been widely applied to many major projects in China. As these new scaffolds are the international mainstream scaffolds with reasonable structure, advanced technology, safety, reliability, material saving, they have been applied in large quantities in many major projects in China and achieved good results.

The "10 new technologies in the construction industry" has played a leading and exemplary role in promoting the scientific and technological progress of the industry, and has played a positive leading and pioneering role in the construction industry to improve the quality of works, ensure the safety of the construction, improve the efficiency of the enterprise, shorten the construction period, civilized construction, green construction, etc. We expect that the state and the industry will further increase the number of  scaffolds  in the construction industry, which is more than 10%.
