The usefulness of various components of scaffolding

1. right-angle fasteners: fasteners used to connect vertical cross bars.

 

2. rotary fasteners: fasteners for connecting between parallel or diagonal rods.

 

3. butt fasteners: fasteners for butt connection of rods.

 

4. vertical pole: vertical poles in the scaffold that are perpendicular to the horizontal plane.

 

5. horizontal bar: the horizontal bar in the scaffold.

 

6. sweeping rod: close to the ground and connect the horizontal rod at the base of the vertical rod.

 

7. capping rod: the horizontal rod closest to the top of the vertical rod.

 

8. scissors: crossed diagonal rods set in pairs on the outside of the scaffold.

 

9. base: a pedestal at the bottom of the pole.

10.top support: an adjustable rod set on the top of the pole for supporting loads.
